Sarasota, Florida, June 29, 2006 – As part of its continuing commitment to enhanced maintenance and customer service, Tropics Software Technologies (TST) has added three full-time employees to its product support team. These new employees are responsible for troubleshooting, resolving customer requests and testing new releases of the Tropics^® Policy Administration, Tropics^® Claims Administration and WebTropics^® workers’ compensation software.

Peter Burroughs is the first addition to the expanded product support team. Prior to joining TST, Burroughs worked in the IT department of Unisource Administrators in Sarasota, FL. Before entering the technology sector, he was a litigation attorney in Texas for about five years.

Peter received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Law School. After becoming interested in the technology field, he earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology from DeVry University. Burroughs is certified in A+, Network+ and Microsoft.

Joseph Presley is the second addition to the expanded TST product support team. He came to TST with over a decade of experience in software support and customer service. Prior to joining TST, Joseph managed product support for four years at Unicare, a Sarasota, FL-software company. He also spent seven years in product support for telecommunications software.

Corey McCoy is the third addition to the TST product support team. He has worked in software support for over seven years. Before working at TST, he worked for Sarasota, FL-based Gevity as a helpdesk analyst. Corey holds an associate’s degree in computer networking from Remington College in Tampa, FL.
