Project Manager:
- A four year college degree in Information Systems or other computer disciplines
- A minimum of 5 years in managing and deploying insurance and/or financial systems in Microsoft/Oracle environments.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects to external customers
- Experience in 1 or more methodologies including Agile, PMP, and/or MSF
- Experience with Oracle and SQL server
- Create written project plans describing the scope and limitations of a project based on contractual agreements
- Management of internal technical resources as well as external vendors responsible for data and image back file conversions
- Experience developing cohesive teams and successfully establishing and achieving project metrics for both large and small projects

Product Specialist, System Integrator
- Minimum of a 2-year college degree in information systems or related disciplines. A business degree with computer experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 3 yr+ experience working with insurance and/or financial software installation and integration.
- Experience in installation of systems in a Microsoft network environment
- High competency with Microsoft Office applications
- Expertise with database SQL querying tools (Oracle knowledge preferred)
- Experience with training technical and end user and producing training materials

Product Support Specialist-Policy and Claims Mid-Level
- Minimum of a 2- year college degree in business, computer, or related disciplines

- Crystal Report knowledge
- Duties within these positions include supporting clients on a day-to-day basis by providing telephone and e-mail support; preparing, testing and documenting software releases; participating in system preparation, installation and on-site training for both new and existing clients.
- Prefer candidates with workers' compensation software and processing knowledge in the following areas:
- For the Policy Support position, experience with a WC Insurance Company, Carrier, MGA, TPA, or Insurance Agency is desirable
- For the Claims Support position the candidate must have experience with First Notice of Injury and Claims processing with a carrier, TPA, or claims processing organization.
- Occasional travel will be required.

- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong aptitude for software installation/support tools including SQL, report writing tools, and MS Access.

C# Web Developer - Submit a Resume
Tropics Software Technology is seeking a C# Web Developer to join our team to help build the next generation of the Tropics Software platform. This individual will be instrumental in the construction of a robust, scalable solution consisting of ASP.NET (C#), Web Services, JavaScript, Ajax, and Silverlight.Â
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of application design.
- Provide analysis of existing business processes and the development of functional and technical design documents.
- Design, develop, and test web applications and web services written in C# with limited guidance.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of solid design and development experience in C# and ASP.NET and a thorough knowledge of the .NET Framework and associated technologies such as IIS, WCF, and WF.
- 3+ years experience in building multi-tier applications with a strong foundation in the business logic and data access tiers.
- Experience with portal technologies and hosted environments, especially in designing and implementing application-level security in these environments.
- Strong skills in OOAD and OOP, and the ability to apply these skills to real-world applications.
- Strong database experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
- Experience with Silverlight 3.0 or 4.0 and Expression Blend with emphasis on retrieving and manipulating data across web services is highly desired.
- Experience in building applications for insurance, finance, or banking is a significant advantage.
- Thorough understanding of building user interfaces for ASP.NET applications. Experience using Ajax, XHTML, JavaScript, and other associated technologies is keenly desired.
- Experience with either the Telerik or Aspose components is a significant plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft certification strongly preferred.Â
